"A feeling of summer..." presented the collection of Anna Singer-Brugh and William Henry Singer, which once formed the basis for the founding of the Singer Laren Museum in Laren, the Netherlands. The exhibition offered an overview of Dutch painting from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Paintings from the Laren artists' colony were represented, as well as neo-impressionism, expressionism and geometric abstraction. Under the direction of Prof. Tillmann Damrau, students from the TU Dortmund University's Institute of Art and Material Culture developed an independent contribution for the exhibition, which interpreted the exhibition title from their perspective. The 14 students gave their contribution the title "& Lemonade".

Lena Kraik, Anna Levine and Katharina Ziesen showed colorful, sometimes large-format paintings that brought the atmosphere of summer to life in a very special way. Franziska Ressel and Rosa Reymann brought summer into the museum olfactorily with an installation of smell samples. René Butzen, Mergime Kokollari and Duygu Tacay presented prepared set pieces of summer fantasies enclosed in acrylic glass spheres. Manuel Sobottka combined a variety of elements to create unexpected narratives in a densely hung series of pictures. Valerie Benninghoff, Lucia Danieleit, Lea Frensch, Anna Levine, David Mellin, Aron Schmidtke, Manuel Sobottka and Katharina Ziesen installed playable mini-golf courses in the exhibition based on originally redesigned motifs from paintings in the Singer Collection.
