Bastian Buddenbrock (*1988 in Oberhausen) works at the interface of installation, performance, film and music. He studied at the Kunstakademie Münster with Suchan Kinoshita (master student 2023/24) and as a guest of John Morgan in Düsseldorf. His works have been shown internationally, including at the Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, in Tokyo and Iceland. In addition to his work as a visual artist, he regularly appears as a performer and musician (e.g. Duo [e:ga'l]) and has been running the offspace for time-based media and interdisciplinary exchange 'Solips' in Wuppertal since 2022. In the summer semester, Bastian Buddenbrock offers the seminar 'Dance first. Think later. It's the natural order'*.
